Opened in March 2017, the MUVE ASC is a hyper-specialized joint replacement facility consisting of two operating rooms and six stay suites and a non-medical lodging facility. Astoria Healthcare Properties managed the design and construction for its affiliate partner, MUVE Health, LLC. MUVE’s proprietary protocol-driven care model covers pre-consultation prior to surgery, the surgical episode, and the recovery process. The result is total joint replacements at a much lower cost, with significantly better outcomes and higher patient satisfaction.
